Students Introduced to CPR in Medical Device Class

Students in Maggie Snyder's medical devices class were introduced to CPR and what to do in the event of someone choking. They are learning how to respond to choking - including initial assessments, specific procedures for conscious and unconscious victims, and how to adapt standard CPR for a choking emergency. The students practiced on stuffed animals. The training is in line with the American Red Cross standards, but does not certify them.
