Explore Japan: Tokyo & the Japanese Alps (June 2028)

Is your child interested in Japanese language, culture, or travel? Join us for an informational meeting on Wednesday, October 7, 2026, to learn more about the Japan: Tokyo & the Japanese Alps Tour taking place in June 2028.

This educational travel experience is led by Ramirez Sensei, Japanese teacher at Avon High School, and Señora Clark from AMS North. The tour is designed to immerse students in Japan's rich history, culture, language, and daily life through meaningful, hands-on experiences.

Students will have the opportunity to:

  • Explore Japan's history, traditions, and cultural landmarks
  • Experience authentic language and cultural immersion
  • Develop independence and confidence through international travel
  • Gain a broader global perspective
  • Create lasting memories and friendships

Experienced teachers lead these educational tours and are passionate about travel and helping students discover the world beyond the classroom.

Who Can Travel?

Students must be rising high school students (or older) in 2028 to participate without an adult family member. Adult travelers are welcome; however, this tour is designed primarily as a student-focused educational experience.
