Discover Amerigo Vespucci, the classroom duck!
Waddle into Mrs. Gibson’s 6th-grade class to meet her duckling, Amerigo Vespucci. He hatched on May 7, 2025. He’s a Call duck named after the Italian explorer and navigator from the Republic of Florence for whom America is named. He was hatched in Mrs. Gibson’s classroom last year. Mrs. Gibson also keeps his parents as pets. Fun facts: he loves snuggling and could live into his teens!
