Back to School Night

Please make plans to join us for our Back to School Night on August 11, 2026, from 6 - 7:30 p.m.

Parents enter through door #1 and doors #15 and 16. Go to your child's first period class. We will provide instructions from there!

Parking for big events at our school is limited and you may have a long walk from one of the elementary school parking lots just east of our school. Because of this, it is important for you to arrive about 5:45 pm so you can locate your child’s first period class before the program begins at 6:00 pm.

Please speak with your child and have them tell you the best route to follow to locate your child’s first period class. You will receive a map when you first enter the school; please utilize doors 15 and 16 that face the south bus parking area to enter the building. You will spend ten minutes in each class before moving to the next class. The program will end at 7:30 pm.

To obtain your child’s schedule, you can do so by logging into PowerParent using your credentials. To go to PowerParent, click on this link or type this into your web browser: https://avonin.powerschool.com/public/home.html. You can also navigate to PowerParent by going to our Avon Schools website at avon-schools.org and clicking “Parents” at the top. Scroll down and look for PowerParent in the list of resources. If you need help with your username and password, please click “Forgot Username or Password?” beneath the login prompts. If you need additional help, please call us at (317) 544-5700 and choose the guidance office option #3 from the menu of options.
