AMS South Students Volunteer at Sheltering Wings

The students who belong to the Future Leaders of Tomorrow Club at Avon Middle School South aren't waiting until the future to lead. They're learning about – and practicing – servant leadership today.

On March 9, students from the Future Leaders of Tomorrow Club, led by Avon's Teacher of the Year Michael Brooks, went to Sheltering Wings to learn about domestic and teen dating violence and what this important organization is doing to prevent violence and protect survivors in our community. While there, they also volunteered their time to help organize recent donations intended to help residents achieve and maintain safety and independence.

Keep serving – and leading – students!
