We love to honor our Veterans. Several very special Veterans Day programs are scheduled on Tuesday, November 11, 2025.

Avon Gold Card Holders gathered at Avon Middle School South this week. They got to meet several student-leaders and Principal Dr. Dan Peo, tour the school, and hear district and referendum updates from Dr. Wyndham.

Avon Schools Superintendent Dr. Scott Wyndham has an important message about the Operating Referendum Renewal for Avon parents, guardians, employees, and the community. 

In this, the first of what will be an annual Avon alumni episode, Dr. Wyndham catches up with three Avon High School grads, individuals who excelled in academics, arts, and athletics during their time in Avon and who are continuing to do great things in college and beyond.

Recently 773 parents took the time to provide feedback about their parent-teacher conference experience. In addition, many took the time to type affirming words about their experience in Avon Schools.

Avon is one of the leading school corporations in the Hoosier state, and it's not by accident. Avon students succeed in school and in life thanks to the support of their parents and family members, excellent educators and school staff, and the Avon-Washington Township community.

This month, you nominated 60 individuals and the entire Transportation department as ALL Stars — Avon Schools employees who embody our mission: ALL belong, learn, and grow. Meet this month's ALL Stars and read a few of the comments.

"I want to be able to continue the high standard of excellence that our community has come to expect, and we can only do it through the support we receive day-in and day-out from our community. I'm just thankful to be a part of such a great school district."

Our 8th graders had a chance to learn more about Area 31 at Ben Davis High School.

Kona Ice came out to honor 190 students who completed an IXL challenge.
